What does security film do?
In most cases, we would be installing an 8 mil film, with a wet glaze attachment system that would bond the film to the window framing. Using this combination, you will greatly increase the strength and durability of the glass, making it monumentally harder for someone to gain entry, vs a standard untreated glass panel.
